PRODUCT F.A.Q’s
-
We carry gas, wood-burning, electric, and pellet fireplaces, as well as stoves and inserts. We also stock mantels, surrounds, doors, and fireplace parts.
-
A fireplace insert is designed to fit inside an existing fireplace opening, improving efficiency and updating the look. A freestanding stove stands on its own and can be placed in a room without an existing fireplace, as long as proper venting is installed.
-
Yes. A gas insert is one of the most popular upgrades we offer. It fits directly into your existing wood-burning fireplace and converts it to a cleaner, more efficient gas unit.

Yes. We carry mantels, surrounds, and doors as standalone products so you can update the look of your existing fireplace without replacing the whole unit. We have both custom and prefabricated options!
-
Sizing depends on the square footage of the room, ceiling height, insulation, and your heating goals. Our team will ask the right questions to help you find a unit that's properly sized for your home.
-
Absolutely. Electric fireplaces require no venting, making them an excellent choice for rooms where gas or wood fuel isn't practical. They're plug-in ready and come in a wide range of styles.
-
Pellet stoves are among the most efficient options available, with efficiency ratings often reaching 70 to 90 percent. Gas fireplaces are also highly efficient and convenient. The best choice depends on your home, your budget, and how you plan to use the unit.
SERVICE F.A.Q’s
-
We offer fireplace maintenance, fireplace repair, chimney cleaning, and chimney repair. We service all makes and models of fireplaces, stoves, and inserts.
-
Annual maintenance is recommended for all fireplace types. Regular inspections help catch small issues before they become costly repairs and keep your unit running safely and efficiently.
-
The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) advises that you should have your chimney inspected once a year.
For wood-burning fireplaces, annual cleaning is recommended at minimum. Creosote builds up with each use and is a leading cause of chimney fires if left unaddressed.
Gas fireplaces produce less buildup but their flues and venting systems can still accumulate debris, bird nests, and blockages that affect safety and airflow.
Pellet stoves vent through a dedicated exhaust pipe that collects ash and residue over time and should be cleaned at least once a year as well.
Regardless of fuel type, an annual chimney or venting inspection is the best way to make sure everything is clear and your unit is operating safely.
-
Our maintenance visits typically include a full inspection of the unit, cleaning of key components, and identification of any parts that may need repair or replacement. The specifics vary depending on the type of fireplace you have.
-
Yes. Our technicians are experienced with diagnosing gas, electric, wood, and pellet units. We'll identify the issue and walk you through the repair options.
-
Some of the most common signs include visible cracks in the masonry, a damaged or missing chimney cap, water leaking into the firebox, and white staining on the exterior of the chimney (known as efflorescence). If you notice any of these, it's a good idea to schedule an inspection.
-
Yes. A deteriorating chimney can allow water into your home, lead to carbon monoxide issues, and increase the risk of fire. It's one of those things that's worth getting looked at sooner rather than later.
-
We handle masonry repair, flue cap installation, crown repair, and flashing repair, among other services. If your chimney has structural or weatherproofing issues, we can assess it and recommend the right fix.
-
Most maintenance and cleaning appointments usually take between one and two hours. Repair visits may take longer depending on what's involved. We'll give you a better estimate when you schedule.
